"Hey."
Akira looked up. Suoh was standing in the doorway, a young lady leaning on his arm. She was gazing up into his eyes, a lovesick smile all over her face.
It made me feel sick.
It wasn't fair! No matter how hard I try, he never notices me! And it's not like I can say anything, I just have to smile and pretend I'm happy and stuff. It's just not fair!
Silently, I stood up. I couldn't even bring myself to look at them.
"Akira?"
I sniffed, hoping he wouldn't be able to see the tears brimming in my eyes as I pushed past him into the corridor. I had to get out; I couldn't sit there and watch them!
"Akira!"
Someone grabbed my arm. It was Suoh. The blonde man had concern written all over his features.
He turned to the dark haired girl beside him.
"Can you leave us now? I think we need some time alone!"
He flashed her that gorgeous smile, the one I always wanted to see. The girl blushed and hurried down the corridor, glancing over her shoulder as she went.
"Come on." He whispered, pulling me into the room I had just left.
I stood, extremely close to the golden haired angel I knew so well. He eyes bored into mine.
"Um, Suoh, what are yo-"
I was cut off.
Suddenly, a pair of lips was on mine.
Wait, what? Was this really happening?
I was kissing Suoh. I was kissing Suoh. I was kissing SUOH!
I pulled back abruptly. Pain crossed his face, in a way I've never seen.
"I thought...you...wanted me?"
He sounded so unsure.
Shyly, I slid my hand onto his cheek, bringing his downturned face back to my level.
"I-I-I love you." I stammered.
And with that, I finally brought myself to kiss him.
